"This was taken at a Houston Hospital in 1963 during the Shrine Date.
Atterbury and the Shriners insisted on raising the center ring about a foot by adding a stage so those acts could be better seen.
Sure enough, opening night during the leg-carry the tub, Barbara and "Anna May" went thru the stage, both were bruised and battered pretty good.
The Shriners must have alerted the Press, as a rule patients don't wear makeup in Hospitals."

Buckles,
That's what I thought too. Looked more like a Hollywood glamor shot then the recovery room in the trauma center. You can take the girl out of show business, but you can't take the show business out of the girl. :)

NOBODY except Buckles has ever seen her not looking her best! And even HE has to get up REAL early to see her before the magic happens! ~frank
