I became intrigued by antique circus toys while curator at the Strong Museum in Rochester, NY, in the 1970s. This is the catalog cover to an exhibit I directed in 1977 showing a 29-1/2 inch long Hubley bandwagon on the cover. This larger bandwagon has carvings that differ slightly (note child with horn) from the other Fielding-style bandwagon with outside sunburst wheels shown in the color photo of 8 Hubley wagons. |
