 Shannon here: Up to this point we have left the ability for people to leave COMMENTS to the posts as Anonymous, which means ANYBODY can leave a comment, it goes to a email and dad gets to play Nero and do the "Thumbs Up or Thumbs Down". As of late becasue the setting is set for anonymous there has been allot of SPAM for him to weed thru and unfortunatly he misses some legit comments. So as a test run I am going to disable Anonymous comments. So to leave comments you will need to provide a USERNAME and PASSWORD. The good news is you can use Google, Yahoo, AOL and others. One of the fastest is ... Google - https://accounts.google.com/NewAccount OpedID - http://openid.net/ Both are fast and free. And for those that just have to be obscure and anonymous, create a 2nd one and use a fake name. This is not to stop the comments but to cut down on the ton of spam my dad has to weed thru.  |

For some reason I have been swamped with over 100 spam comments a day lately.
Most were entered via pictures posted well in the past.
A lot are in foreign languages and the rest pitched items for sale or porn.
Shannon said the easiest way around this was to eliminate "Anonymous"(Chic gets the last laugh) which is the entry word for all this crap.
Maybe it's sign of the economic times.

You aren't the only one Buckles. Just in the last three days, some dumb&^% is doing the same thing on mine with about 40 a day to all the posts from years ago. I'll try to figure out the Anonymous setting as well.

This is still very confussing...after adding the Google program that Shannon recomended, my internet is totally screwed up!
