From Jackle LeClaire

This is not meant as an invitaion. Not that any of you would not be welcome, but the auditorium here is not very large and can quickly fill with the residents. They have added a line to this flyer saying that they had better come early to get a good seat. It is not that I am so great, but they all know me here and I am like one of their family doing a presentation in the auditorium, so that is my main drawing power. Just thought you would like to see what they think of me and the care and help they give me. Love, Jackie

"Jackie, you need to high-seat those people!
Essential that all walkers and wheel chairs remain outside!
They must enter at a brisk pace with no talking and sit closely together!
Otherwise you're going to have to give a third show!"

Isn't this kinda late for most of

these folks unless they take a nap

after their Early Bird dinners

My wife has come to allow me to

doze during some performances as

long as I don't nod or snore

Careful Jackie that you don't run

past 11:00 o'clock or the staff

will be on overtime

Sorry I'll miss it as I don't

get home til the 21st (I hope)

Movies will run some times almost 2to 3 hours. Evening performances generally around an hour to an hour and a half. Thursday is show night and we have some great talent coming in and beautifully presented. The doors are never locked and anyone is free to leave. A few can not sit that long and some have other problems that they have to attend to. Length of programs have never been a problem. These shows are for the independent living and some assisted if they want to come, not the nursing. THey have their own programs. It is like on circuses today, after certain hours, a lot dissapear to their TV programs, but attendence is generally very good with rarely few leaving. We have great concert pianist playing on our very very long grand piano and often the criticm of these appearance is that they could have gone of forever. Bay Village has a very educated and wealthy clientel.
This is a home for retired people not a moseleum. Love, Jackie LeClaire. I do have about 2OO Slides and several videos. It is put together in the Power Point system.
