Hi Bill,Rembering a true superstar, circus legend, and consummate performer... Gunther Gebel-Williams (September 12, 1934-July 10, 2001).Today. September 12, would have been Gunther's seventy-seventh birthday.I was a big fan of Gunther's. I even had the pleasure of meeting him in person during a run at Madison Square Garden.I feel fortunate that I was able to see Gunther perform on so many occasions. Besides his obvious training talents he had a special way about him, a joy in his performing, that all who watched him perform could see and appreciate. It will be a long time before we see another star of Gunther's magnitute, if ever.Take care,Henry
