When I was in Calif. working with elephants on "Jupiters Darling" By chance I met Johnny Weismuller in the Culver Bar in Culver City. When I told him of working with George Emerson with elephants at MGM he became quite animated. At the time he was starring in the "Jungle Jim" TV series and told me that all day long on the set he had to keep yelling "Move up Emma Move up."
PS At the time he told me that he owned a piece of the Culver hotel right across the street from the bar and even took me to his private suite so I could call my latest girlfriend in New York. I recall that as he entered the bar a gave the "tarzan yell" he was well known to the regulars there.
