Julio told me about this last year and he went to Italy to see how it was done and now the tent pulls out just like your shower curtain.
Before they had to twist the four sections like a pretzel and it took like 30 men to man handle it and load it on the trailer.

Geary Byrd told me that this is the third year for this tent. The first year he said it was killing them. The second year they got better at setup and this season they are quite good at putting it up.
On this date in Sparta, Wi. the cap was left almost to the ground and 23, hard hat equiped workers took brushes and soap to it. Slowly the thing was raised and the men worked further down the expanse of vinyl.
I neglected to ask Geary about why they went with this type of tent. I still think the push pole would not be out of place today.

Dennis,
I can tell you real quick why they went to this type of tent as this is from Barbara Byrd.
Both Traci and Kristin wanted to try a one ring format so they did it.
And this tent is damn heavy to struggle with.
Barbara told me if Dad was still here ( D R Miller ) he would have said a push pole worked fine all these years and why change it.
Jamie Garcia could get that push pole tent and side wall darn quick.
It still takes alot of hard work with many guys to get it up.
This new pulley system that was added sometime last year really helps.
