This looks amazingly similar to certain Con Colleano and perhaps also Hubert Castle posters. Mr Colleano is leaping off a wire waving a matador's cape over my right shoulder as I type this.

It probably was the same poster. My recollection is that the show/PR department used a common graphic and changed out the TAG for the artist.

Interestingly I believe that all three wire walkers were of similar stature and had dark hair.

My dad's act and Hubert Castle were similar in that they started off with a comedy routine and morphed into a more serious presentation. I am not sure on how Colleano structured his act.

In later years my dad and Castle were friends. We all lived in Dallas in the 60's and visited fairly often. I recall as a young kid of driving over the Hubert Castle's home with my parents and having dinner. My dad and Castle would reminisce on wire walking talking finer point of each others presentation.

Castle and my dad also went fishing together around Dallas during that time. I recall my dad saying: "Hal" loved to fish more than he did. " I think that Castle's real name was Hal Silvers.

Interesting observations. My business partner is the Great Niece of Con Colleano. I found a poster on ebay for Con and it turned out to have his name actually placed on TOP of Hubert Castle. Guessing they all must have looked a lot alike.
