GSOE Elephant Act #1 (From Eric Beheim)

Continuing our celebration of the 60th anniversary of the filming of DeMille’s GSOE, we finally get to the sequence that many of us have been waiting for: the elephant act. (Being able to view it as a series of frame enlargements makes it easier to see what is taking place and to identify those scenes that Gloria Grahame and Lyle Bettger actually appear in.) These first two frames are, of course, from earlier in the film and serve to establish a plot device that proves important later on . . .
