 Hi Buckles, Here is a picture and an article that better illustrates the globe that Charles asked about from The Greatest Show On Earth. The photo was taken in a German night club prior to the 1951 Ringling season and the newspaper article tells a little of its history while on the Ringling show. I thought the act was incredible.
Tho pedaling with all her might she could never get the bike up to the half way mark of the globe.
And the erratic action involved caused his neck and upper torso to be jerked around violently.
