 Buckles, Since Eric is sending in all those great stills from The Greatest Show On Earth, I thought the readers might like to see some of the costumes from the film. I have acquired them over the last 20 years and they are the gems of my TGSOE collection. Some had to have some restoration and others were fine as is. # 1 is the red elephant act jacket worn by Lyle Bettger as Klaus. Jacket was in great shape. The only thing I had to do was have custom made epaulets constructed to match the originals. Over the years they were replaced with very simple ones.  |
