This lithograph for the Barnum & London show of 1882 is one of 80 posters currently on display at the Cincinnati Art Museum as part of "The Amazing American Circus Poster", which is a featured exhibit through July 10. The exhibition moves to the Ringling Museum of the American Circus in Sarasota from September 17 through January 29. Many of these posters are one-of-a-kind examples. If you have the opportunity to see the exhibit, either in Cincinnati this summer or Sarasota this fall/winter, I urge you to take advantage of this unique display. |

The Amazing American Circus Poster is a new book that has been created specifically about the Strobridge lithos and for this exhibition.
At $30.00, this is by far the greatest treasure of information ever produced on the Circus Posters in full color and featuring article by several of the great circus historians of our time such as Janet Davis, Fred Dahlinger, Richard Flint, Richard Reynolds III, and Fred Pfening III.
The book is available now while the exhibit is in Cincinnati and can be ordered by mail. It will also be available in Sarasota when the exhibit moves to the Ringling Museums.
Bob,
How about giving us all the info and prices plus postage to order the circus poster book.
Mailing address or email address etc, please.
