Booking 2012 and keeping you company in cyber space. It is lonely at 6:30 am, isn't it?

Bob's father, Irv, had a chimp act. In 1973 I was 17 (yes, 17) and tried book the act at the reincarnated Steeplechase Park (1600 Surf Ave., Brooklyn, NY) in Coney Island.
The park didn't go for it, but I tried. It was a 2 hour subway ride, each way, for me to present my grand idea of a chimp act for the park. I tried several times but it was a no go.
The original Steeplechase was a brilliant park that burnt down, the new Steeplechase was a collection of rides on a lot.
Donald Trump's father owned the property and Norman Kaufman was the park operator.
I still don't understand the reason that they didn't want the chimp act.
They have been trying to resurrect Coney Island for years.
If they only booked Irv Lange's chimp act 38 years ago, Coney Island would be in a lot better position today.

You've got to get up earlier than that if you plan on routing the show through the deep South next Fall ahead of Picadilly Bros.
