Arky Scott was in his glory at this point in life. He told me he got 6 months on this picture. Here is a classic shot of the great herd boss arriving on the lot astride the department's steed, Harold. DeMille did well by the Elephant Department, and certainly realized the value of the boss. He had Arky written into the script by name,and gave him lines which made it into the release print.
