Good picture showing the old Philadelphia Municipal Stadium in the background. That stadium was built in 1926 as part of Philadelphia's celebration of the nations 150th anniversary. Renamed JFK Stadium in 1964 it was torn down in the early 90s so that the First Union Center (now Wells Fargo Center) could be built. That arena - in very close proximity to the old circus grounds - is now home to Ringling Barnum during its Philadelphia dates.
