Bob Wild #1 (From Buckles)

His name was Robert J. Wild seen here at the Diamond O Ranch in 1958.
This was his one shot at working an act and from all reports his expertise in the ring was exceeded only by his film persona.

I believe he worked on the Mills show in 1962 under Virgil "KY" Seagraves, than under Lee Keener after "KY" left the show part way through the season. He always seemed a reliable, quiet and gentle animal man.

I was there in 62 and would work ruptured Bunnie on bad lots as she could help out with light work [pull stake puller drag canvas bales to wagon and pull kinkers off the lot]. Only had two work elephants, Burma and one eyed Jenny. I don't recall Bob but very well could be. Blackie and Lee were the two hands.
