OOOOHHHH Mama, That's a big boy!
He's how old ? around 30 ?
he looks young
I'm curious, I was just in Munich and had the opportunity to see Circus Krone (probably the best show I've ever seen). How does this fellow measure up with Colonel Joe?
Gary told me "Smokey" was the last of the Roman Schmitt calves.
Sold to and named by Bobby Moore in 1985.
Purchased by Gary in 1993.
I havn't seen "Joe" in long while but I don't see how he could be this big.
I wish Shannon had taken a picture of him head-on. I swear he looks almost as wide as he does long.
So, wait a minute, you're saying that Krone's claim that "Joe" is the largest elephant in the world is mere circus ballyhoo! I can't believe it!
Was this elephant originally called Rhani?
I should have taken a pic from the front. He is as wide as he is long almost.
If the guy on the left would consider losing that fat belly, he might have a chance of growing as tall as the rest of his friends, or at least to the top of Smokey's hind leg.
I'll see if I can have a talk with him, and see if he can do something about his weight.
I believe this was ronnie named for reagan born in 1983
Were Gary and Smokey (as a punk) on Nordmark's International All-Star Circus is 1978???
