The lot is circled by a white picket fence spaced between tall red posts. The new tent currently seats 600, but will have a capacity of 800 with new seating for next season.
According to Giovanni, this tent was similar to what his father and uncles used in 1948, which was the first four-pole tent in the U.S. at that time.
The new tent has an extractor fan it the dome to draw out hot air. All main pole cables are concealed inside the poles themselves.
The late Alberto Zoppe', his son Giovanni and brother-in-law, Jay Walter designed the new Big Top. This tent was twenty years in the design process.
At a time when shows are closing down, it's great to see the Zoppe' family investment in the future with this beautiful showplace. ~frank
