Al G. Barnes 1930's #5

I lifted this from the 1936 Francis Benedict Study the weights shown in
the left column look a lot more accurate.
For some reason, two elephants were excluded, "Topsy" and
"Modoc" (later of Ralph Helfer fame) this is the same herd as
seen in 1937 above in picture #4.

With the exception of "Tommy" I havn't seen too many circus elephants
exceed 10,000 lbs. "Anna May" was 8,000. However I recently saw
several up at the Stud Farm that easily topped 12,000.
