"Jumbo" #7

Scan13257, originally uploaded by bucklesw1. This is a 2 1/2" by 2" piece of Jumbo's tusk I bought when I was at Circus World in Orlando. Chappie stopped by the elephant barn saying that a guy called claiming to have this item and it was for sale and asked if anyone might be interested. I said, "You Bet!" On seeing it Chappie said it looked authentic. Can't remember what I paid. I'll have to ask my banker, she remembers those things. I later learned that these were memo's handed to members of the Press at a mock Funeral Ceremony.
