Yes, by all means. I find the right ear of the bulls on the two pictures looks very, very similair, tusks are also same curve and shape, but of course different size.
Ive sent you an email with a picture of the bull I described, the problem is, he looks pretty similair also, only that he lacks half his trunk.
Back in 1974, I attended the Paul Eagles Circus Luncheon Club's annual Christmas circus which the Los Angeles show folk put on at a Pomona children's hospital. (That was the very first time I met Smokey Jones and his family, who were there with their little elephant Tika.) There were two other elephants in the performance, one of which was missing about half of its trunk. The story I heard was that the elephant, while still quite young, had had its trunk chewed up by a tiger when both animals were being transported in the same truck. Smokey was very indignant about that elephant being shown in public. He later told me that it ended up in Mexico.
Eric -
Pati & I were in Los Angeles last month and we went to Phillipe's - The Original French Dipped Sandwich and all that was left of Paul Eagles Circus Luncheon Club was a few pictures and posters on two of the walls. In it's hay day this was the place for show folks to meet in the LA area. Smokey & his family drove over 60 miles to get there.
