The capture concludes with the half-grown wild elephant being lashed to a trained elephant, while a second trained elephant pushes from the opposite side to keep prisoner in place. According to the article, it takes about 10 years for the station to thoroughly school a work elephant. |

Great set of photos showing the Forest Elephant, with the downward pointing tusks for easier movement thru jungles and heavy brush. The one with the kids looking down on the punk with the tusks looks like it was a doctored photo with the elephant cropped into the photo.
