Robert, Pleased that you mentioned little Harold Simmons. AQ wonderful little man. Trouped with mostly on Gil Gray when he partnered with Gene Randow and the did a great big and little btramp clowns. Very unique. Both characters to be sure. Later his time with Dingie Ashton family act.He had a tiny home here in Sarasota. Showman all the way and certainly one of the Good Guys. Both he and Cuciola were good versatile showguys. He had a cute little Aussie accent. Ronnie Ellis was a good guy and later was Purchasing agent on the RBBB Blue show. We found all of these Aussies to be good showguys. Have been friends with Stanley Gill for so many years. He always related with me as a fellow horse guy as he was so proud of his family Wild West Show years DOWN UNDER. Also Mary Gill was family friend in those days. Lots of great memories. I recall when some of the Perrys spent time visiting the Circus World Museum while I was there. One of them being and elderly Gentleman at that time [1960s]. Who would they have been? Always enjoy your participation on the blog. Very enlightening in your circus world and ours. Quite similar in so many ways. Tony and Jenda were close friends all those years. We have so much in c ommon. I worked on Cole Bros. with Con Colleano and his sister Cora, married to clown Danny O'Donnel. Enjoy so much reading about his family years down there. Well, so much rambling. Just pleasant thoughts from an old campainer.

Yes Harold had a daughter who married Benny Cristiani and passed on with cancer at young adult age, but they had a daughter.

Jenda spoke highly of your country and even thought of retiring there.
