1970 RBBB Blue Unit #1 (From Eric Beheim)

Ringling 100-1, originally uploaded by bucklesw1. 40 years ago this month, the 100th Edition of the GSOE played San Diego. Well aware that this edition was something special, I attended three performances and took over 100 color slides. (During one performance, I used a telephoto lens almost exclusively.) Out of those 100+ slides, slightly over 50 were selected as being worthy of sharing with others. Even though Buckles posted them a year or so ago, in honor of the 40th anniversary of their being taken, I’m submitting them again. (In 1970, I had no concept of what looking back 40 years would be like. Today, it doesn’t seem all THAT long ago!) They are being submitted without comment. (The task of filling in the blanks I’d rather leave to you.) Enjoy.
