In 1937, TRU-VUE released a set of two 35mm filmstrips, each containing 14 stereo (i.e. 3-D) photos of the London Zoo. Viewed today, these photos provide a fascinating look at what a world-class zoo looked like 73 years ago. Richard Reynolds undoubtedly has information in his files on the animals that were in the London Zoo’s collection back then, and will no doubt comment upon some of those shown in these photos. |
