RBBB 55 Spec Valentine & April Fool Day (From Dom Yodice)

Hi Buckles,
I am sending along 9 photos of the Ringling 1955 spec.."Holidays" that Richard Reynolds talked about.
They were taken in Madison Square Garden. Notice the dramatic lighting effects that were used.
Unfortunately, the person that took these photos was at the 49th St. entrance so all the units are going away from the photographer. Nevertheless, they are beautiful photos and shows Miles White at his best.
Hope everyone enjoys them.

Mr. Yodice,
Seeing all this in color is a real treat.
I saw this show here in town when I was 7 years old under canvas.
I am sure we only got 3 rings and no 2 stages.
Thank you so much for sharing this with us in living color.
I would guess he shot Ektachrome slides?????

Harry,
No need to be so formal. Everyone calls me Dom.
Glad that you liked the color shots. During the 50's Ringling only used the three rings and two stages at Madison Square Garden and Boston Garden. Once under canvas they just used the three rings. The last time that they used three rings and two stages under canvas was in 1947.
The prints were made from slides, however they were duplicate slides but would agree with you that the originals were Ektachrome.
