Felix kept his pig overnight in a small compartment on the #10 Elephant Dept. wagon. Apparently whenever the beast outgrew the quarters, it was replaced. The compartment can still be seen on the wagon today.

Felix Adler and my father, Jack LeClair were partners in clowning before I was born, 1927.e Felix was my unrelated Uncle because of the association. They would play vaudville dates during the winter months when the circus was not on the road. They did a comdedy talk and dance routine calling themselves, "Adler and LeClair, the Odd Pair" Jackie LeClaire

A friend of mine had a grandfather who farmed outside of Clinton, IA. Some how he knew Felix and used to supply Felix with small pigs when the show was in the midwest.
