Ed Raymond was a fantastic clown with the children. It is my understandning that during his work, one day a little girl threw and handful of sand into his eyes, causeing him to loose most of his visable sight. He visited clown alley during the Grotto Circus at the auditorium in Cleveland in the early 1950's selling some of his clown things. I still have his Johnny Ray wig, that is a wig with a bauld front and the hair going up behind it. Sort of a small Bozo the clown type wig. This wig had a leather plate, not cloth, and of course Yak hair. I really prize it and it is still in great condition. Jackie LeClaire
