Iron Eyes caught my attention here, as cast in the Tim McCoy entourage. Would this be our Iron Eyes Cody of Hollywood renown--whom we best remember as the tearful Indian lamenting the trashing of our public lands? I have paid my respects at his mausoleum at Hollywood Forever Cemetery.

I am the proud owner of a handwritten letter by Tim McCoy on Carson & Barnes letterhead, with his signature written twice. As an American hero, Colonel McCoy's service is documented and powerful. Before the singing B-movie cowboys, his stardom in films equaled Tom Mix and William S. Hart. I wish I could have known him.
