Ursula and her Polar bears was probably the single most impressive and spectacular act that Ringling presented in the past several decades.

The presentation was geared to circus purists more than the general public. As I recall the act was long by modern standards at about 15 minutes. The bears were impressive but moved slowly thru their paces.

Act pacing aside, the WOW factor was huge. Audiences did not know the level of skill it took to assemble such a large group of animals but were blown away by the sight of the massive creatures responding to this petite blond lady.

Witnessing Ursula and her bears was a once in a lifetime experience that will never be duplicated on such a grand scale.
