Chic, The 1951 program had the same people as listed in 1950. John Murray Anderson left the show sometime during the 1951 tour. The only other change was Angelo Nicholas (Count Nicholas) was the Equestrian Director and Willie Kraus (sometimes David Murphy) was the vocalist. Harold Ronk only appeared in Madison Square Garden. Robert Dover was also listed as Assistant to Mr. Valdo. Dom Yodice
Chic, Bob Dover's real name was William (Billy) Rosenthal. If you go to the Circus Historical Society web site and click on discussion board that will take you to the search page. Enter Bob Dover and then scroll to question #680. There are several interesting facts about Bob Dover. Hope this helps. Dom Yodice
It's interesting to read that his depression was intensified by his attempts to see his daughter. I'm his great niece and my uncle has responded to several of these threads as well. His brother (my grandfather) committed suicide as well and our family has a strong history of mental illness. I found this thread in trying to find out more about his life and how his mental illness affected him.

Thanks Dom
By any chance do you remember
Bob Dover's real name as I have
forgotten it or what became of
him after I last saw him during
the DC "Circus America" date
that opened the Capitol Centre

Thanks again Dom
I am surprised at some of the
incorrect information found there
There were no children from his
marriage to Antoinette and his
daughter was with his 2nd wife
who was later married to Mickey
Antalek (I forgot her name also)
His depression was intensified by
her attempts to deny him access
to the girl (that I do remember)
Chic,
The name you're looking for is Kveta.
First married to Bob, then to Mickey.
Jack
Yes thanks Jack
I think Mickey died at a fairly
young age if I recall correctly
Chic,
The world works in mysterious ways.
Irvin Feld died in Venice, FL in September, 1984 of a brain hemorrhage at 66 years of age.
He had traveled to Venice to attend funeral services for Mickey Antalek who died a week earlier on tour in Peoria, IL.
