Richard Reynolds says - -

Preparing to unload no. 8, first wagon to come off the first section, Sunday morning October 31, 1954.

It was very cold, right at freezing with light snow flurries. I heard one of the RBBB train crewmen say, "And this is supposed to be the sunny South."

No. 8 is in preservation at CWM. I think it's painted green. What does that say about the circus superstition about green?
