Thanks to Jimmy Cole for these and all the grea photos of our Herriott family all thru some 40 years. We are so proud of the latest endeavors of members of our family. I was able to see this latest "power house Cole Bros Circus". With all the fine animal acts and the exciting thrill acts [one right after another] in a perfectly balanced great circus entertainment. Yes, it kept me and all of the audience on the edge of our seats. What a great circus. I am so pleased that Jason and Jennifer are a significent part of it. Johnny Pugh and Elvin Bale can sure be pleased with their efforts. Lance Ramos has certainly become one of the great animal trainers of our time with the great Red Show tiger act and beautiful Arab liberty act, the excellent tiger act on the Universal Circus and this newest addition of Tigers and exotic on the American institution of Cole Bros, Circus. Each act is par excellence in the field both here and abroad. I am proud to say that Jenny and Jason represent four generations to grace the center ring with the Cole tirtle. My father Milton as a principle horse trainer in the forties [he also handled the sea line acts as well.] Myself with our horse and dog acts, daughters Laura Cindy Heidi and Weiner with aerial, high school, liberty and dogs and ponies, and Jason and Jenny. Yes, we are proud to be one of Americas circus families and at this point in time Laura has her own exotic animal acts appearing with her sister and Brother-in-laws James Cristy Cole circus just finishing their annual shrine circus date in Lincoln, Neb. as per route and Daughter Heidi and grandaughter Cassidy with equestrian, etc. on Ringling Red and Cindy and Roy here raising their two delightful twin daughters. Cindy is also training some beautiful nminiature horses. Joh John continues to get honorable mention as the capable Ringmaster with the Walker Bros. Circus. You can be sure its a busy time for Mary Ruth and myself keeping track on all their endeavors. Weiners daughter Star is now 18 and a circus beauty in her own right doing Aerial and liberty ponies right along with her mom. This is an up to date sketch on the family and my cup runneth over. P.S. Heidi is with Ringling Gold. In closing, many thanks to all of our circus friends, fans and others for your support all thru these years that have been a joy in our House of Herriott. I am sincerely Johnny and Mary Ruth.

Col. Herriott & Lady Mary Ruth,

Let me add my congratulations to you both on the exciting continuation of the Herriott's rich circus dynasty.

It's a joy to see this and to know how much pleasure and excitement the Herriott family has given circus audiences down through the decades.

Long may you wave!

My very best to all the Herriotts.

Sincerely,

Jack

Nice thoughts, Daddy. It is great to be back doing this full time and with Cassidy (my daughter) by my side. Pics of Jason and Jenny look great. I LOVE the pictures of my dad and then Jason standing on the camels. 50 some years apart yet so much the same. Yes, Jimmy, thanks for all the great photos over the years!

John, Thanks go to you, Mary Ruth, and all the generations of the Herriott Family for providing us with such Great Circus Entertainment for all these years ! I am looking foward to seeing The Cole Bros Circus in Florence, SC on March 30th. I`m have knee replacement surgery on April 1st and can`t think of anything I`d rather do before I have it than go see a Great Circus.

Nice to have an update on all of your family. I expect to see Heidi and Cassidy in less than two weeks on the Gold. As proud of your family as you are, know how honored so many of us are to count you and your family as good friends. My very best to you and Mary Ruth.

I had dinner with the Naughtons yesterday at their new place in Sarasota and had a great time.
As I watched my granddaughter Kay playing with Johnny's granddaughters Veronica and Bree I mentioned to Roy, "I hope they remain this close and maybe some day troupe together on a show."
These comments today reaffirm those feelings.
