Back when I was in high school, there was no such Federal holiday as “Presidents’ Day.” Instead, we celebrated Washington’s Birthday on February 22nd. On Washington's Birthday in 1962, taking advantage of the school holiday, I went to a matinee performance of the Grotto Circus in Cleveland’s Public Auditorium.
