"Columbia"

Scan12463, originally uploaded by bucklesw1.

This is from one of the "4-Paw Dancing Eight" elephants that died in Lancaster in 1933. My dad said that the ground was frozen at the time and they drug her carcass out back and gradually covered her with manure.
The following year he undertook the gruesome task of uncovering her and removing the tusks, one of which I scanned above. As you can see only the lower quarter would have been visible the upper 3/4 was encased in the gum.

You are right about that and also I missed 1910-11 with 4-Paw-Sells revival.

I have been sick for almost a week now, at the Club Roy Wells told me that everyone in Sarasota was caughing.
Dalilah finally got the word and called saying she had made a Doctor's appoint saying, "Are you going or am I going or am I going to have to come down there?"
Got a penicillin shot, a few hits on the breathalizer and some medicine.
Brings to mind the old 50's tune:
"Doctor! Doctor! give me the news,
You got the Walkin' Pneumonia and the Boogie-Woogie Blues!"
