Casselly courier 2009 (From Don Covington)

Hello Buckles,

These photos are also by photographer F. DeHurtevent and are posted on the French circus site "aucirque.com".

The Casselly Family presented this interesting variation of the classic courier routine using both elephants and horses as part of the Val d'Oise Circus Festival.

I've been looking for a video of this number on Youtube, but haven't seen one yet. There is a video of the Casselly Family at the last Monte Carlo festival showing their liberty routine with these same horses and elephants. Here's the link:

Don, you can find the Casselly courier act on Youtube by searching the title Cavalos Elefantes. It is the entire 7 minute act.

Don - Thanks for the GREAT link. I've can't remember ever seeing liberty horses doing a long mount, nor ever seeing more than one horse and elephant together like this. ~frank
