An unofficial, but a high-placed source said that the gross is double last year's.
Several long-term members said that the audience was the biggest in recent memories.

I attribute the sizable attendance to the excellent placement of the free tickets for children which were distributed by Jose Torres and his "Team Tickets". Excellent job, those tickets were everywhere. Spread like manure on a pasture; as far and as wide as an eye can see.

Ray MacMahon, Sargeant-At-Arms at Showfolks and Papparazzi Of The Stars told me that the "after show" at the club was the biggest turnout ever.

Pat Cashin discovered, via circus producer Frank Curry, that the "Original Hub Hubble" built the comedy car that Pat now owns. Pat was in his glory to meet these two distinguished show biz personalities. Jerry Kleinfelter sat with Frank and Hub during the show, each wearing a western hat made them easy to spot in the seats.

Note to those who snuck in the back door:
There will be a TICKET BOX at the back door in 2010 featuring "Premium Price Tickets" at $20.
Cheaper tickets will be on sale at the front door.

Next.

What a novel concept

Correction:

The novelties were under the direction of Oscar Garcia who turned in a record breaking gross.
What recession?

Opps, I did it again.
Correction: Jose Pages (not Jose Torres) did the ticketing. I knew that, it was just a typo.
Mr. Pages knows that I knew it was him cause I mentioned the great job of ticketing to him on Saturday morning.

For 2010 the Congress of Clowns will be expanded in members and in appearances in the show. Jackie LeClaire was swamped with request from the general public to pose for photos. He is a classic in the traditional white face and colorful wardrobe.
