Little Nemo-14 (8-22-09)

Little Nemo-14 (8-22-09), originally uploaded by bucklesw1. One of Nemo’s more bizarre adventures occurred in 1909 when he and two of his friends are captured by a tribe of intelligent, talking apes. (This was years before Pierre Boulle wrote MONKEY PLANET, which was later made into the movie PLANET OF THE APES.) In the strip published on August 22nd, Nemo and his pals come face to face with “Professor Gorilla” who intends to make them perform in the big cage.
