This was at Lincoln Center, New York City
My old stomping grounds!
The building at left was the home of the NY Ballet where I saw
"Nutcracker", "Pinafore", "New Moon", etc. I see it is now named for Mayor Koch. I wonder if any funds were raised during it's renaming?
In the center is the Met where I had the pleasure of hearing numerous fat ladies sing.
The New York Philharmonic resides in the building at right, Barbara attended a Julio Inglasias concert
there one evening.
The smaller building in the background is the Vivian Beaumont Theater that specialized in Broadway revivals and out of sight to the right of it, is the Julliard School of Music.
Big Apple set up in the wooded area seen at left along side the Met.
I remember one move out night when one of the house trailers while pulling out, clipped a marble tree planter and ruptured the septic tank sending an odiferous stream down toward the fountain.
As the patrons in tuxedos and mink coats were tip-toeing thru this I heard one lady say, "Look the circus artists are leaving, how exciting!"
Buckles: It's named for David L.
Koch (whom we may safely assume has ALOT of money, not for former Mayor Ed Koch. A shame, we've met The Mayor and are very fond of him.

PS Carson & Barnes bit on Good Day NY ABC TV was terrific, a plus for the Circus in America. Our Compliments to the Byrds and all, just wish it had been longer.
