Hello Buckles: Could you please let your readers know that Bill Strong is critically ill and was supposed to be placed into Hospice Care yesterday afternoon. Joanne called me the night before last and then I called Trudy. Trudy said that Bill's condition had declined over the last couple of weaks and that his breathing capacity had been reduced to 1/4 of one lung. Bill has been in incredible pain and ultimately told his medical team that he didn't want to take anymore medications or antibiotics- that he was ready to go in peace. Of course, Trudy and the entire Strong and Wilson Families are devastated. One of their sons is working on a film shoot somewhere and could not get home until next Wednesday at the very earliest and Trudy had not been able to contact their other son as of Wednesday night. Please ask your readers to keep Bill and Trudy and their family in their prayers, as Bill is not expected to be able to breathe much longer. He hopes to pass away in his sleep as peacefully as possible and be rid of his pain. I'm sorry that this is coming right after your loss of Ben, but I thought your blog would be the quickest way to get the word out. Thank you and Bless you. Neil Cockerline |

Our family is sad to hear this about Bill Strong. Our prayers and thoughts go out to Bill Strong and his family and their extended families and circus families. WE never had the honor of meeting them, but feel like we have...based on yours and Bill's blog over the last few years and many many wonderful stories and photos posted on both blogs. This is a sad and sorrowful time for their family. I did correspond with Bill in an email when I bought something from his Ebay circus stuff a few years ago, not knowing who he was at that time. God bless all of them and give them the strength and peace to go on. Karen Glenn
Jessica, and I along with our entire Circus Harmony fail will remember Bill and the entire Strong and Wilson families in this difficult time. Bill and Trudy have been friends a long time and Bill will be missed by all.
