record for texas gator is 14'2", but we had a 5 year old boy shoot a 12'6" 800 pound one the other day with a 410ga shootgun.
Google "Simon Hughes gator" for the story. His family has "Hughes Catfish Inn" in Goodrich Tx.
On US 59 between Livingston and Shepard Tx.
