Bobby was at Busch Gardens when his orang, Cylde was a baby. We visited him and he was a great host. I even held Cylde, funny a few years later when he made the movies with Clint Eastwood, he was a big boy then.
This Orangutan had gotten about twice the size when Simone traded him off for a couple of young chimps. I had asked Simone about it at the time and apparently the orange ape was quite a "Wrang". Around this time you could get Orangutans in the neighborhood of $2,500.I still have a price list from a dealer in the late sixties that Morgan Berry had put me in touch with, Vondenbrink in Holland.
PS.You could purchase a new one ton truck for around $2,500 also back then gas was .20 to .30 cents per gal.

The first animal in the line is an orangutan. The other three are chimps. There have not been all that many orangs in the rings of traveling shows.
Is that a young Orang in front
of the 3 chimps
Johnny (Juan) Lam who was with
Tihany for many years had an
incredible adult female Orang
named Deborah that was the best
behaved primate I was ever around
Mostly I'm very wary of adult
chimps & Baboons (huh Jimmy)
And Anna Farfan's brother Bobby
Berosini had several Orangs that
mostly did high line club dates
(Glitter Gulch) and film work
