Was it the outfit or the lot
At this point I drove the truck and worked the props for our family elephant act and my dad wasn't a bit shy of offering my services if any of his buddies were short handed.
Jack was a generous tipper but leading a camel "Coogie" wasn't exactly what I had in mind as an apprentice circus star.
Sooooo sorry I missed that but

During my stagehand apprenticeship
I would get to fill in for just
about anyone that would need me
On the original "Carnival" there
was a donkey that "props" would
clean up after (guess who)
What.. and give up show business
