I recall working that date as a groom with the Circus World Museum animals in 1969. After the date ended, there were several bags of the colored sawdust left over, which we neatly loaded into the CWM semi. Seems we included a few folding chairs as well. When we got back to Baraboo, Johnny Herriott called Fankie Braun and myself into his office (wagon #60) and told us how he "frowned on us taking those chairs". As he leaned back on HIS office chair, I could see the words "property of Cincinnati Gardens" painted on the bottom!
