Here again are a couple of the
waltzing tiger pedestals from
Charly and the older mesh arena
from the Blue show is looking
a little ragged
How about that ruffled garland
detail decorating the ring curb
Pretty snappy huh
Jewell with Monarch,Travis and Lancer on the handme down pedestals.
Relooking at the picture you can see me at the gate beside the tunnel. With whip inhand to toss to Jewell because he often got the first whip caught on something else in the cage so I would toss him an extra.
What's a "ring-curb" ?
I don't remember if there was
any way of blocking the outside
light once all the cats were

I spent about a month on site
and then would visit from time
to time as requested
The props I mentioned are the
ones in the lower right corner
I think they had the turners
made for Jewel in Venice

I never thought of Charly's, GGW's, or Ursula's props as "hand me downs," anymore then England's coronation crown is a hand me down. LOL

There is not a show owned prop that is not "beat to death", from all those years.

Yup the operative words are...
"Show Owned"
Although many of the act owned
don't fare much better
Charly was anal about his props. We replaced the wood on the seats in Quarters and he wanted to again when we were in NYC? His cages were treated the same. No reason Tiger Joe wasn't too worried about going out when his wife got sick.
