Betty and Hoxie Tucker

Hello
I am trying to find out some information about Hoxie Tucker's significant contributions and most notable achievements in the circus industry. If anyone has any information please contact me. He is my grandfather and I am trying to put together a record for my children so they can appreciate the man he was and his contributions. Thank you for your time and assistance,

Kelly Williams

I would imagin that early '70s issue of National Geographic would be one of your best references. There are still many copies floating around..I may even have one circus4youth@earthlink.net

The was a book published, written by Fred Powledge titled "Mud Show". It is about a season with Hoxie's Circus. Maybe not the most clamerous history for grandchildren, but tells the real world of a season on a mud show
