If you did this open pony ride today, each kid would be strapped on the saddle and every pony would have a person walking by it's side.
It's a wonder that we all survived without gov't rules and the insurance industry looking out for their asses.

What is the show in the upper left of the picture? I tried to enlarge it but couldn't make out what it was. There are 2 cages at the front of the platform and it seems to be high enough for a motor dome. Maybe with a riding lion?

There is a photo blow up to the left of the cages showing a drome rider on the wall. The word lion also appears in the wording on the high marquee. What a great attraction - the free bally - was a show in itself. Charles Hanson
