The IDEALS Circus Issue featured a number of paintings by Ray H. Wolf. This particular one is titled “Belligerent Elephants” and was “painted from an actual incident at the circus winter quarters.” (Does anyone know what that incident was? It looks like they’re just “crapping out the herd.”) |
