Buckles,

Back in the 80s, an English friend of mine who lives in Suffolk, near Bury St. Edmunds, happened upon a fading piece of circus art in an antique store. He bought it for a few pounds and sent it to me.

It's the original artwork for a Togare poster for Bertram Mills -- quite similar to the pose on that program cover.

Top line reads "Togare and his Lions." Bottom line says "Bertram Mills Circus at Olympia."

Had it framed. It wasn't in great condition when I got it but in a good looking frame, it's a gem of my circus collection.

For the benefit of those who don't realise, the artwork here is of Togare.
