Great pic despite the writing.
The pair that I would have liked to see photographed together was Major and Safari. Had Major not died I imagine Cole Bros would have featured them together in their publicity: a giant male Asian and an African, until the pygmies were imported the only African then with an American show.
I misspoke- I should have said, "Had Major not been executed."
Great photo. Do you have an estimated year/location, etc., that this photo of Tusko was taken?
They were only together on the show two seasons 1928 and 1929.
